Katrina prioritizes fun and safety in class, and aims to inspire her participants to fall in love with fitness just as she has.
She always tries to mix things up, be it with music themes, or the structure of her classes. Fitness should never feel dull or a chore, so adding variety to each class keeps things fresh! Her classes are energetic and always include a dash of humour - often laughing at herself!
Her Story:
After struggling with body dysmorphia and battling her weight for most of her teens & adult life, Katrina believed that exercise was a form of punishment for bad food choices, or to achieve the image that the world told her to fit into. In her mid-30’s she finally discovered that participating in a group fitness class that moved to the beat of energetic and loud music, that she could finally enjoy moving her body. For the first time in her life, she actually wanted to move and sweat because it brought her JOY!
Fast forward a few years, and now Wild Prairie exists because Katrina has a passion for Group Fitness, and wants to share it with YOU!
Her Mission:
The goal of Wild Prairie is to shift any negative mindsets about fitness into positive ones - to see exercise beyond what it can do for you aesthetically, and to how it makes you FEEL, and what it allows you to DO.

Fun Facts about Katrina:
She’s an introvert that hates attention in group settings - makes sense doesn’t it?
She loves to travel and experience the history the world has to offer, but is more than ok staying home and doing nothing.
She’s extremely visual - she’ll probably forget your name but will never forget your face!
