Now that Stripe is our payment provider we have options when it comes to fees...
...and we have opted to pass on the payment processing fees to the customers instead of increasing the cost of drop in passes. Please read below to know WHY:
✨ Session Registration will continue to be the most economical choice for you as a participant. We want to show our appreciation for your loyalty and commitment by adjusting the base cost accordingly to allow for the extra fees to be added without making the overall price per class increase. ✨
We have chosen to pass on these minor processing fees to our customers when they purchase passes to avoid raising the overall price of the drop in passes at Wild Prairie. If we decided to adjust the cost of the passes to include the processing fees, that results in even higher processing fees being paid to Stripe.
Unfortunately these processing fees, (plus many other small banking fees that layer on) quickly add up for this small business. Inflation continues to affect us as well, and we have chosen to make this change and hope you can understand why we chose to go this route.
✨ If you would like to purchase a drop in pass and not pay the additional fees, contact Katrina to arrange to pay by e-transfer or in-store. Please note that there could be a time delay with this entire process of 24+ hours or more before you receive the pass in your account.
